Classroom Timer
Huge, readable numbers for the projector or smartboard. The color changes from green to yellow to red as time runs low.
How to use the Classroom Timer
- Set the activity length, for example 10 minutes.
- Press Full screen and Start (or press F then the space bar).
- Students see green, then yellow at half time, then red near the end.
- Use +1 min if the class needs a little more time.
Use the Classroom Timer for group work, tests, centers, silent reading, clean-up and brain breaks. Numbers stay sharp on large screens, and the color change gives students a heads-up before time ends.
For multi-step lessons, try the Sequence Timer: for example 5 minutes warm-up, 20 minutes group work and 5 minutes share-out.

Questions
Can I show it on a projector?
Yes. Press Full screen. The Timer fills the screen with large numbers.
Can it switch on its own between activities?
Use the Sequence Timer to chain several steps that run one after another.
Will it make a sound when time is up?
Yes. Pick a sound under "Style, color & sound" and press Test to check your volume. On phones, make sure silent mode is off.
Can I get a notification in another tab?
Yes. Turn on notifications and you will get an alert when the Timer finishes while this page is open in the background.
Does it work offline or as an app?
Yes. TimerBright works offline after your first visit, and you can install it to your home screen or desktop like an app.
